Also, I hope to see some combination of Cusick/Martineau and Winder off of schollie soon, or at the end of the year.

Not necessarily all of them, but AT LEAST one or two.

You can't have 4 schollies tied up into one, non-interchangeable, position. That will kill our squad.

Why Winder?? He's got a lot of upside and is only a freshman and isn't Cusick a walk on anyways?? Martineau needs to go though

I'm not singling out Winder. Dude is super quick, and I like him. Just saying, you can't have 4 schollies / positions dedicated to one non-interchangeable position and be successful. And if you have a lot of bodies at one spot, don't you want that to be at a position other than PG?

Rose is a good coach, and I'm sure he'll do the right thing.

Where I'm at now? I'd rather James Anderson stayed this year, than have Martineau. At least he's a big oafy guy that you can throw at defenses for a guaranteed 4 fouls down in the post.

I agree about Anderson. I think Winder can also eventually play the 2 so at least he has another position to mix in. Too bad Loveridge went to Utah. We could definitely use him, especially next year. Maybe he'll see the light and realize Utah sucks and will continue to suck for a while. There were some Rumblings on Rumor Board that Loveridge was thinking of transferring to Utah State or BYU due to the state of Utah's basketball program. We can always hope

Anderson helped us win a few games last year (Arizona, SDSU at home) he contributed more in those 39 minutes than Martineau has in three-four years.

Harrison's not going on a mission and Sharp does not suck; not one bit.
He's a freshman right off his mission but Sharp is going to be a fan favorite by the end of his career; he's the kind of effort garbage man that a team as talented as future BYU teams will be need.

When I went and saw BYU Kstate in the NCAA tourney, I also saw the 1st game (Northern Iowa - Kansas) and UNI had a 6'7" garbage man that made that team go and gave Kansas fits. That's Sharp for us. He does not suck....

This is the same thing I heard about Abouo and Hartsock (people literally called them garbage) when they were freshmen from others on this board (although Abouo hit the biggest shot of the season for BYU when he was a freshman... if not for Pac 10 refs, we'd still be all talking about it). It takes time for players to get enough confidence and skill to compete at the highest of levels in college basketball (this is where BYU is and has been for some time now) . Now we're seeing Hartsock playing like an all american and Abouo scares every guard in the country on the defensive end (ask Damian Lillard)

But Noah scored a ton in high school against good competition. Was Sharp the same caliber player??

Who will be getting more of Rogers' minutes now (knee surgery), Harrison or maybe Sharp?
