Does anybody think he will be any different than James Anderson?

hard to judge by a highlight reel.

He does seem to move well and have decent hands. But yeah, hard to tell on one highlight from one game.

If nothing else he can at least make free throws.

Agreed, hard to tell from one video. However, 2 big things for me that I saw. #1 (already alluded to): kid has a good looking free throw shot. #2: He looks 10x more coordinated than Anderson and he is years younger. Hopefully he turns into something decent during his career at BYU.

And that's when I knew...

There are other videos of his play that show he's consistent and can hold his own against guys with more bulk than he's got. He looks like a good catch for BYU. I just hope that Rose figures out how to coach big men by the time he's back from his mission.

Any genealogy reports. Parents. Ward.

I lived in Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, and Laguna Hills a total of about 20 years but not since 2000. I still have friends and two kids that live down there. If this kid gets high ratings and is serious about BYU, I will be happy to drive 2 hours each way to take a look.

I am wondering if I knew his family. Right now, I can't think of who it might be. But, I most likely know someone who does know him.

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.

Mission Viejo Trivia

Dr. Martin MacNeill met his beautiful wife in Mission Viejo back in the 1970s. I was not an active Church member back then, so I do not remember either family.

Her mother and family could tell he was weird. Her Bishop warned her mother to steer her away from him, but said he could not tell her why. Kids do not listen when they think they are in love. She eloped with him.

Within months he was serving his first prison sentence. 30 years later, he murdered her.
