Corbin Kaufusi recently completed his junior season for the BYU hoops team in what appears to be his last season on the hardwood. Kaufusi told ESPN960 host Ben Criddle that he will concentrate on football for the remainder of his BYU career.

Smart move, he has a future in football, none in basketball.

It is a another tough loss for Dave Rose and BYU. BYU's program is just bleeding bodies at this point.

Losing Corbin hurts us from an experience point of view but we should have plenty of big bodies.

We have Childs, Mika(probably), Dastrup, Shaw, Aytes, Andrus, Nixon and Worthington. Now I expect 1or 2 of those 7 to either transfer or become a non-scholarship player.

We only have Haws, Emery, Beo, Guinn, Bryant and Seljaas to man the 6 perimeter spots right now.

We really need to get another guard prospect in and probably a JC transfer to be able to handle injuries.
