Re: WCC Tournament Bracket
I'd rather have the quarters and semis on Friday and Saturday with a day to rest before the finals on Monday. Than how they have it with the semis and Finals on Monday & Tuesday
BYU PER W/L Since 1972: 432-76 (.850)
(8.4xYDS)+(330xTD)+(100xCOM)-(200xINT)

I'd rather they hold the tournament with most of the rest of the college basketball world and play so that the championship game happens on Saturday right before the Selection Show. But, I get it - ESPN is choosing to broadcast WCC semis or championship over ACC or PAC.

Re: WCC Tournament Bracket
WCC gets prime ESPN coverage by playing when the other conferences aren't. It's not that bad, IMO. The semis and final are at the beginning of championship week when fans of all the major conferences are craving basketball waiting for their tournaments to start.YNot wrote:I'd rather they hold the tournament with most of the rest of the college basketball world and play so that the championship game happens on Saturday right before the Selection Show. Re: WCC Tournament Bracket
some joker on cougarboard yesterday was trying to argue that BYU doesn't get into the NCAAs this year even if they win the WCC tournament. I'm guessing he was trolling, but he did have a silly explanation when others tried to correct him and he wouldn't back down.

"No matter, chances are that the two will match up in the title game of the tournament. Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga cover approximately 97% of the champion’s probability, a dominance among the top two that even the MVC can’t match."

And the prediction for BYU from that site is 76.3% to make the Semis, 18.1% to the final, and 1.6% to be champs.
