Re: BYU vs ISU Bengals 7:30 MST Radio only
I have always just paid attention to FT% on teams because it was brought to my attention a few years ago that most teams that do well in the NCAA tournament typically have 70% or higher FT%. Since hearing that I have watched and for the most part that has held true. There have been a few exceptions like Memphis a year or two ago was around 50% FT% as a team but still made it to the finals only to lose...in fact I think they lost because the team they played decided to start fouling them near the end of the game and Memphis could not make the FT shots. So here is hoping to a high FT% shooting team this season.

Free throws vs. Idaho State...kiwibacon wrote: I noticed that BYU shot 14 out of 15 from the line. Is that stat right? I don't remember BYU being that good from the line last year. What I do remember is that we had a few players that we 50% shooters and some that were 80-90% shooters... but I don't know what the team was as a whole. What did we shoot from the line in earlier games.

Wow that is a big boost when every one steps up and knocks down their free throws.
