I also watched the game on BYU-tv (how did BYU not get a clause in the MTN deal to broadcast all the sports they wanted to through BYU.tv) Fun game. A bit sloppy, but not bad for the second game of real action. Haws looks like the real deal, as does Davies. Abouo is looking great. Emery still just out-hustles everyone on the floor. I like the way Loyd Jr. was playing until the very end, then he got a little out of control, but he runs the floor well and has great vision. Bench is going to be a great asset this year.

Abouo, Davies, and Haws all scored in double digits. Hopefully, between those 3, Miles will see limited minutes this year.

The way Davies has been playing with his limited minutes makes me think he'll replace Miles as the starter. I was only impressed with Haws a couple times tonight, but was surprised to see he put up 14 or 15 points.

Abouo was a beast out there in the second half---he was flying all over the floor, making things happen at both ends of the court. I'm excited to see him more this year.

Sorry I'd like to point out that I saw the score from Greg Wrubell on his blog and you might have mixed up the 2 numbers, or maybe he did he said the final score was 82-46. I guess it doesn't matter I'm just happy to hear we win and that our new guys played well.
