Brigham Young University's basketball program has received another oral commitment from a high school senior who says he will sign with the Cougars on Wednesday when the early signing period for basketball begins.

Anson Winder, a 6-foot-3-inch-tall combo guard from Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas committed to BYU coach Dave Rose on Wednesday night, according to his high school coach, Grant Rice.

"He will be a great fit for BYU," said Rice, brother of BYU assistant Dave Rice. "He's just an all-around great kid, a great student and a complete basketball player. BYU's up-tempo style will fit his game."

Winder also had offers from Idaho and Nevada, according to Rice.

He averaged 11.1 points and 7.7 rebounds for a team that went 28-5 last year and won the Nevada Class 4A state title.
