I think this is a pretty big deal for in-state recruiting. Isn't Olympus typically Ute territory? I believe we got another recruit from the West Valley area that is also typically Ute territory.

The Cougars now have 3 Olympus guys committed:

2018 Nathan Latu
2018 Cameron Latu
Then recently added one from East High School - 2019 Siaki Ika.

Kalani appears to be killing it in recruiting right now, despite a 0-0 record.

Think this point cannot be overemphasized. This new staff is having success in previously very strong UTE recruiting grounds. That has to be a worry for the Utes, even though they will probably just say that they have moved on to better recruits being in the PAC 12 now.addseo666 wrote:West Valley area that is also typically Ute territory.

Yes, this is very encouraging and somewhat reminiscent of when the Ute's first starting to sneak a few players out of traditionally strong BYU areas.Cougarfan87 wrote:Think this point cannot be overemphasized.
