Re: Andrew Rich - Player of the Game
POtY? Very arguably so.
POtD goes to Heaps IMO. Not that it's much of a surprise anymore... but he was amazingly poised and composed for it being his first bowl game. His passes were extremely accurate. He was great out of play action. He was calm and patient in the pocket. He found the open guy. Other than the interception, he was pretty much mistake-free - no fumbles, screwed up plays, or awful decisions. And he broke some NM Bowl records. No comparison here.

Re: Andrew Rich - Player of the Game
Juice Q was a beast today. He picked up some fine yards on some great runs.
The Hoff picked up a lot of all purpose yardage today and three TDs.
The OL was awesome today. The UTEP D didn't get to the backfield all too often.
The BYU D, with the exceptions of a few mistakes, like letting a couple of the UTEP receivers get behind them, did a great job also.

Re: Andrew Rich - Player of the Game
Dear Rich,
Please spend your remaining time at BYU watching film with your replacement and teaching them the ins and outs of playing Safety. We're really going to need him step up and play at a level somewhere close to where you have.
Thank you.
