Why Baylor/Stanford/Vanderbilt?
Interesting nugget buried in today's BleacherReport:
Apparently, by having one private school member, "public schools do not have to open their books to Freedom of Information Act requests."
I don't know about the extent of this shield--requests are granted all the time for coaches' contracts etc.--but that little bit of privacy is worth quite abit when you start making enough money.
