It's sad/funny to watch Greg Wrubell trying to bury the Ula story on twitter with a bunch of his own tweets of stats and Micah Simon trivia.

He just got off of a mission. How could he do something like that.

Pretty easy to cave to peer pressure at that age. Makes me wonder how many are participating in it.
I agree about player's vs owner's coach. BUT, if Kalani is smart, this is the time to grab this thing by the horns and become the owner's coach. Own it and fix it and make the tough decisions that will not let it happen again. If that means cutting half the team, do it. Consistency in disciplining these issues will make or break Kalani at the end of the day.

The sad thing is that Kalani and his coaches are relying on these young adults to make the right choices and it seems that some of them are taking advantage of the situation to make the wrong choice. But if it continues I can see him "losing it" and clamping down on them big time.

Owners coach / players coach???
I get the references, but the owners (BOT & donors) pay the coach's salary. Players don't pay a thing for the salary.

So, is Kalani "lowering expectations" to make it more fun? Discipline seems to be in the toilet based on all the news.
My wife is an elementary teacher. She is tough and holds the kids to high behavioral standards, yet they love her for it.

Kids end up loving parental figures that they respect. Where there is no discipline, there is no respect.

that is the sad part. That players feel entitled to do stupid things because they have a guy trying to be nice as a coach. He's going to have to clamp down. OR get canned. I don't see more options.imuakahuku wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 1:30 pm But if it continues I can see him "losing it" and clamping down on them big time.

I know that I always played better for coaches and had more respect for those who required a lot and held everyone accountable.
