What sets off a QB controversy?

Worst part about the safety was that Beau had all day to get rid of the ball. He was outside the pocket and all he needed to do was launch the ball out of bounds toward a receiver. Terrible, inexcusable play.

This. He had time to think about what to do, and still did the wrong thing.

Not a showing like that... That was miserable. And he had Ula, and he was playing against the worst defense we've played so far (fbs)

Beau made a boneheaded mistake with the safety, but he's also had the best passes so far this season. And Wisconsin is the best team we've played so far, a legit top 10 team. LSU was fools gold.

We'll see if Beau improves in 2 weeks.

LSU's defense was faster than Wisconsin's, and could press cover. So is Utah's. Wisconsin has a decent defense and an elite offense and scheme.

And of course he will be improved against Utah State. He shouldn't be on the team if he has a showing like that against Utah State.
