While the Utes have had some better players, on defense anyway, I think it's due more to coaching. McBride narrowed the gap. But it was Meyer who really changed things. And as much as I hate to say it, because he's a traitorous schmuck who I hope gets cancer of the eyeballs, Whittingham has always had his team better prepared. And in more recent years, much like Gary Patterson, he had Bronco's number. Knew what we'd do before we did. Absolutely pathetic.
With the new staff having a year under their belt, and it being on our field, it's the first time in a long time I really think we can win. If we don't, we may not win again until Whittingham leaves.

BYU's toughest opponent is BYU.
They lose games they should win ... because they first lose it between their ears. If BYU can beat the man between the ears, Utah won't be too much of a problem. BUT over the recent years, BYU loses in that 6 inches, and then Utah (and others) do what's needed in the trenches and in the backfields.
If this doesn't get corrected this year with Sitake and the team has a bad year, KS will be on the bubble next year, and Ty may be on it this year.
