LB Francis Bernard Suspended?

Too bad life doesn't work that way. If he transferred to Utah he would have to sit out a year anyhow. Isn't the only way he plays for someone else this year if he goes to a JC? Can't go D1 to D1 without sitting the 1 year.

BYU football survived last year's loss of Takitaki. They will survive this year's loss of Bernard.

Sure, they'll survive. But he was on schedule to be a major contributor that BYU has put a lot of time and energy into. This does hurt BYU.

Are there any legitimate news reporters quoting Francis himself about wanting to leave BYU?

I've loved watching play. He can't play this year no matter what he decides. I would hope Francis can feel like he is still part of the Cougar family. Reports were that Francis would be able to be around the team and offer moral support.

For me this is wait and see. I have complete confidence that Kalani is doing whatever he can for each and every player as an individual as well as for the team as a whole.

Until I hear Bernard himself say he is leaving then all the talk is premature. So far all we have is PK from KSL saying that he heard that Bernards family has said he wants a transfer. Which is really nothing as neither Bernards family or Bernard himself have actually said anything one way or the other.

The funny thing is if Bernard does transfer he will lose his last year of eligibilty. It seems to me he would be better off sitting out a year with the redshirt than trying to transfer as he will still have his senior year to play.

I think a few misguided people thought they were doing something good when they were leaking confidential church financial data as if they were bringing great secrets to light, but now they are going after a college kid and trying to ruin his life? There's no a person can watch that video and believe Mormon Leaks has done anything positive.

Wow, that footage had to have come from the apartment manager. Shame on them for releasing this. This current norm of recording everything has taken our privacy away we used to have. Still, I was curious enough to watch because it was there. But the dude said he had to record this because he was employee, but how did that ever give him the ability to have this released to public?
