This makes the most sense. ESPN has a relationship with every P5 conference. That is not the case with Fox, or any other network. We often use ESPN to meet our scheduling needs.

Who else is (1) going to put as much $$ in BYU's pockets, and (2) give them the exposure that BYU wants more than $$?

Will Fox, NBCSN, CBSCS, Comcast, or anyone else deliver the same amount of nationally broadcast games and help facilitate big games at neutral sites?

I have a hard time seeing any other broadcast partner who brings everything to the table that ESPN does.

I think the next contract will be more lucrative than the first, but not as eye-popping as we might have hoped for a couple years ago.
