The Cougars and Volunteers are scheduled to meet at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Sept. 7, 2019, with the second game set for Sept. 1 or 2, 2023, at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo. The two schools have never met in football.

BYU and Idaho State will also play in 2019, in a game scheduled for Nov. 16 in Provo.

2019's schedule is almost done. Need to add one more home game. What is a little weird is the first 8 games in a row (5 of which are P5 teams), followed by 3 open weeks, then ending with Idaho State, UMass, and SDSU. I'm guessing they try and put the one remaining home game on 11/2, which means bye weeks on 10/26 and 11/9? Or is something going to move around?

Which also leads me to believe there isn't any expected Big 12 expansion--as 2018 and 2019 now have 11 games and 2020 has 10.

I loooooooove that BYU got a 1 and 1 with Tennessee. Love it. I like independence a lot.

I'd love to see it, but I'm still jaded by the Notre Dame deal. 2023 seems like a long way away for Tennessee to somehow not make it out to Provo.

I'd love to see BYU schedule a series without someone making a comment about how the team is not going to play their return game. How many teams have been buying their way out of these H/H series anyway? Just Notre Dame who ended up with the scheduling agreement/bowl sharing arrangement? This is the kind of thing we make fun of Utah State fans for.
