UConn to the Big East?
http://www.fanragsports.com/cbb/rothste ... expansion/
Looks like UConn and the Big East are at least discussing the idea of expansion. This doesn't directly involve UConn football; but, because the Big East does not sponsor football, UConn could consider independence.
I know UConn isn't a marquee football program or anything, but they have played in a BCS bowl game and actually attract pretty decent TV ratings for a mediocre program.
What do you think? An annual November game with UConn? Require annual men's and women's basketball games as part of the deal?

We played them twice and won both times. It does not excite me. If they would replace a UMass game I am okay with that, even a FCS game but that is about it. They don't help our rpi. A payday game is okay.

I don't see the point in having an annual game with 1 specific team on the East Coast, maybe an annual game on the East Coast, but mix up who it will be.Fido wrote:I don't know if you need ANNUAL games--but it wouldn't hurt to mix them in on the schedule.
