Williams and Langi to the Combine

Post by snoscythe »

We all knew Jamaal was getting invited, but it's great to see Harvey Langi get his chance as well. Jamaal's scouting report on the combine page is oddly negative (spoiler alert--they give him a lower raw grade than Harvey) with bizarre statements about things like an "inability to create for himself with broken tackles and elusiveness", and Harvey's bashes Tuiaki and Sitake on the decision to move him to end (which was better for the team until Butch got injured, but bad all-around for Harvey).

That wasn't Langi who said the thing about not putting him at DE, that was a scout.

Jamal's draft prospects are reviewed by the Eagles Wire which looks at his strengths, weaknesses, and how he would potentially fit in with the Eagles. They rate him as a second round pick but say the passing game is his biggest weakness (catching and blocking).

Will Jamal really go as high as the second round? What's everyone guess as to which round he goes in?

Jamaal will go 3rd or 4th round--this is a really deep RB class, so he'll go at a discount.

I think Langi gets picked 6th or 7th.

I expect 4th-5th round for Jamaal, but that he'll stick in the league.

Langi either late 7th or undrafted.
