According to TBS, Fakahua is going on a mission first and then will be given a shot to compete at QB.Fido wrote:2-star ATH Mason Fakahua out of Cedar City has committed to BYU. He had offers from Utah State, Weber State, and Southern Utah.

Proposed times of signing of NLOI tomorrow:
Zo Fauatea - 7:30 AM - BYU, Utah
Alden Tofa - 9 AM - BYU, Oregon, UCLA, Utah
Mo Unutoa - 9:15 AM - BYU, Oregon, Oregon St, Utah, Virginia, Washington St
Jay Tufele - 10 AM - BYU, Ohio St, Michigan, USC, Utah
Brenden Smith - 2-4 PM - BYU, Cal, Nevada, Oregon St, San Jose, UCLA, Washington St
What amazes me is that the schools listed above all would hold a scholie at the leisure of these athletes.
I wonder how many actually have the ability to wait until these moments to make this decision and possibly leave their host schools without a commit. Jay Tufele, a 5-star--YES, the rest, all 3-star players, I'd be surprised if they weren't told they need to let the coaches know by tonight or the scholie is gone.

According to scout tonight, Jay Tufele has narrowed his list to 3--Utah, USC, and Ohio State. I don't think that is a shocker--but it appears BYU is out for him.
