JSwag is a great kid
My grandson couldn't say enough about visiting with Jamaal after the MSU game. He is th 8-year-old at Jamaal's right. Jamaal took a lot of time with kids and fans. What a giver. I'm so glad he is a BYU cougar.

Puts him in 3rd round talent but will go in a later round due to a lot of RBs in the draft.

Signing with Leigh Steinberg is a huge step for Jamaal getting to the NFL. Great move.

Re: JSwag is a great kid
Two years ago I had sideline passes to the homecoming game against UNR so I took my 7 year-old son with me, and Jamaal came out during warmups in his street clothes. Since we were expecting him to play, I called him over and asked him what was going on, and he said he was just a bit tight and they were holding him out as a precaution. I wished him luck and expected him to go back over with the team, but he turned his attention to my boy and started chatting with him and tossing a ball back and forth with him. He did that for the duration of the warmups until they called them back into the locker room.
My kid still worships Jamaal Williams. He was kind of ho-hum about BYU games last season when Jamaal was out, but he was all-in this season because he knows his friend Jamaal.

Re: JSwag is a great kid
726 carries and he only gave up the ball on 2 fumbles in his entire career. Jamaal is one of my favorite players of all time at BYU. He is true blue. He had a bunch of opportunities to transfer and chose to stay and be true blue. The stories like the one above are the rule not the exception with him. He is a fantastic kid and I wish him the best of luck in the NFL.
