It is that time of year! We need to honor the ineffable, the defeated, and the perplexing.

5. Men of Troy are a really good 15 minute team. After that not so much. Their kicking game even sucked except when it was to the other team's gonads.

4. A huge shoutout to Deja vu Oklahoma. Let's see, coming into the season ranked number 3. Scheduled to play a team called the Cougars. Losing and losing badly.....where have I heard that one before? Memo to Oklahoma file: Do NOT schedule your next season opener against the WSU Cougars. Just sayin.

3. Speaking of Washington State they need to quit scheduling FCS schools. Last year they lost to mighty Portland State. This year they lost to East by Southeast Washington. It hurts morale to lose to these teams. They need to stick to Pac 12 schools and probably Oklahoma.

2. As bad as WSU's loss was, Mississippi State even should feel worse, losing to South by South East Alabama (i.e. Cuba). It is the worst loss according to the prognosticators in the last five years (unless your name is Jeb Bush)

1. SEC. LSU got beat handily. Only tough hit they administered was a late one resulting in an ejection. Ol Miss played like a bunch of old misses. TN was lucky to win over Appalachian State as was Arkansas over some other Louisiana school. MO got pummeled and KY lost to south by Southwest Mississippi. Now we understand their reticence to play teams out of conference.

In other news, Philippines president says Obama is an SOB. He's obviously not a republican but an independent with such sweet talk.

Trump donated money to Florida Attorney General related support group and she decided not to investigate Trump university. This is proof Trump is a Clinton wannabe.

Special shout out to the Notre Dame Irish, who gave up 50 points in their loss to Texas.
