Garrett Nicholson

I swear that in September, Garrett Nicholson left the team due to academics. However, I see that he is still listed on the roster. I can't find any real articles about him leaving (although I thought I remember reading about it), besides just gambling websites- http://www.opensports.com/odds/default. ... cfb/injury (see BYU). Can anyone confirm this and/or point me to a legit news article/blog that refences it?

I'm quite sure that Nicholson was ineligible to play this year due to his academics. And I know for a fact that there has been more than one occasion when the BYU roster has been less than accurate. I really hope Nicholson gets back into "academic" shape and comes back... I like the kid and think he's a good player. Probably as good a CB as BYU can get in an average year. He could still come back and start his final two years once the JC guys have graduated.
