Re: We need this trick play
I would hope that at the college level an athlete would play through to the whistle. But yeah, it's a great play. You gotta feel bad for the DB that just stopped and stood there and let the guy get that throw off. You know he was running gassers after that game

Re: We need this trick play
That's reminds me of my days back in 8th grade football. This was back before anyone at that level would ever scout an opponent. We had a trick play for our first offensive play of the game for every game and we scored a touchdown on 7 of the 8 games we played. That one would have really tricked a bunch of 8th graders, but you have to have a decent QB to be able to skip a ball like that and I have to imagine that playing on an artificial surface is a definite advantage for that play. I don't know if they even had the ol' astro turf back in those days. Doing that on some of the grassy fields we played on would have been difficult.

I don't get it...what's with all the Chambers hate? Yeah he's made some mistakes but other than Max and Payne, Chambers seems to get the most inordinate amount of negative vibes thrown his way. Why is that?BYUROCKS wrote:Chambers would drop it tho.

I think its because his mistakes are very silly and easy to spot.
IE Reluctance to signal for fair catch, fumbles... name it. Add that to the fact that OC and Hall have very high expectations and it is easy to come down on them. I myself am guilty of being critical of a few players.

Well fumbling what feels like 2-4 times in the red zone does that to you.cougarblue333 wrote:I don't get it...what's with all the Chambers hate?
