BYUtx is now famous

Post by Mars »

Looks like he's finally been published for his genius! http://heraldextra.com/sports/college/b ... a6de2.html

"Thanks to "BYUtx" for these interesting numbers on the Mountain West Conference's "Big Three" of TCU, BYU and Utah. Since the Horned Frogs joined the conference in 2005, here are the results of the head-to-head matchups:

TCU 5-5 (3-2 vs. BYU, 2-3 vs. Utah)

Utah 5-4 (2-2 vs. BYU, 3-2 vs. TCU)

BYU 4-5 (2-3 vs. TCU, 2-2 vs. Utah)

If the Cougars beat the Utes in two weeks, all three teams will be 5-5 head-to-head since 2005."

I'm not surprised his work was picked up by Darnell Dickson. That guy sometimes seems unable to come up with his own intelligent thought. He even voted Stanford #14 this week in the Harris Poll, after leaving them unranked last week. You'd think they beat #1 USC, not some team with two ugly losses coming into the game. Stanford still has 3 losses this season Darnell, ya goon! http://heraldextra.com/sports/college/b ... a0dc9.html

Okay, does it strike anyone else funny that the thread to which the Herald was referring devolved after just one comment, into the leftover posters on the site slamming the Herald for sitting idly by and allowing trolls to drive away any good contributors from what was once the best BYU fan forum on the web??? I think that's hilarious! Good work, boys! Way to take note of the only good thing going for the Herald's site A YEAR TOO LATE for it to make any difference! ...and do so on a topic that's basically there to trash you for it. That move perfectly encapsulates everything I've come to expect in the last year from the Herald. Thank you Cougarcorner!

Did Darnell atleast give credit? I remember Darnell did that a few years ago. There was a topic being discussed on the forums and suddenly the next day it became an article by Darnell. A few posters picked up on it and Darnell claimed that he came up with the idea himself and not due to forum discussion.

Yes, proper credit was given. Maybe because the DH got caught printing cookie-cutter, plagiarized NFL stories early this year.

No blame was accepted, however, for failing to properly moderate the once-great CB.
