5. Soft Cal: Giving up 55 points to Stanford? This was the MOST points an SC defense has EVER given up in a game...and at the Coloseum no less. This was a moden day version of what it must have been like when the let the lions out at the Coliseum of old...
4. Michigone: They started out 4-0 and the pundits loved the turn around Coach Rodriguez supposedly had engineered. Then the engineering turned out to be pretty bad: 1-6 over the next seven games with Ohio State this week...
3. WSU: I have been very unkind to WSU. They are no longer the Bottom Five's number one pick having held UCLA to a mere 43 points....Good on you Cougars! Bring on the Huskies!
2. Directional Schools: Western Michigan beat Eastern Michigan 35-14. This was better than E. Washington beating S. Utah 41-28 or W. Carolina beting E. Kentucky beating 24-7 Seriously, how creative would it be to come up with a better name than some direction on the compass? Before you know it we will have something dorky like SE Louisiana or SE Missouri...Oh wait we already do? Egads America is going down the toilet
1. Success: BYU beats OK and creams Tulane and then gets wallopped by FSU. Fast forward and BYU creams WY and is lucky to beat winless NM....sigh
Special shout out: Utes Basketball lose to Idaho Vandals! At least last bad loss was to Baptists. Now they are losing to pagans! Outstanding!
