Sanford Finally Fired

Post by Y&Brit »

blogs.sltrib.com/byu

I saw something on ESPN about it. My wife always feels bad when we destroy teams or when they are just awful, or when coaches never have success...I never do and am not about to. I did hear rumors that K-whit wants the job though (not seriously)

Until they drop that awful gay cheer reeebeeellllls, hopefully the Rebs keep losing for another 5 years

"Mike Sanford has been fired as head football coach at UNLV, but will be allowed to coach the Rebels’ final game against San Diego State. UNLV announced the firing tonight... Sanford was Utah’s offensive coordinator under Urban Meyer, and offered BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall the chance to be UNLV’s defensive coordinator before Mendenhall got the head job at BYU."

Word is that Sanford, when being told he was fired, yelled "It's not over! This is not over!" before tripping and falling down.

UNLV is rumored to be looking for a hot young head coach to replace Sanford. Early sources point to the headman at New Mexico.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

Too bad. They might actually bring a coach in that will get their team 2 or 3 conference wins year in and year out.
Now waiting for Locksley's firing...

Any chance one of our own gets invited to be HC at UNLV?

Locksley is making a brilliant move. Start with zero then next year 2 wins looks like improvement. That way you only need to make 4-5 wins by time your contract is up for renewal.
