BYU - New Mexico Game thread

So why weren't our guys going after the ball after they blocked the kick? I thought the ball was fair game with a missed kick, and they could have tried to return it. And could NM not pick it up and do anything with it either? Their guy ran around the ends, picked up the ball, then took a knee. I admit I've always been a bit fuzzy on the rules with blocked field goals.

The ball is dead unless one of our guys touches it, so rather than take the chance of giving them another shot, we just left it.

Agreed! Our O-line is terrible today. Max Hall has had adequate time at best and Unga and co. haven't had anywhere to go.
BTW, I am convinced we are gonna lose this game now. We just look THAT bad today

What a frustrating game! Is it hurting our offense to have Aletto and Reynolds out that much, or is New Mexico's defense really that good?

BYU's defense is playing more like they usually do, so no real surprise there.

Countless 3rd and longs given up, 4th downs... those are the most frustrating things for me to watch

New Mexico is having serious problems with the field goal, their kicker looks pissed pushing a coach.

Maybe not but I am in an incredibly bad mood right now. It's not just the "P" that is capitalized.
We should be THRASHING this team. 0-9??? and they are playing us this close???

I can't believe there have been so many dropped catches. The throws haven't been the best, but these are catches these guys absolutely can and must make.
