This week's potential upsets...

Let's be honest, a lot of BSU's games this year have been closer than they should have been for a top ten team. Idaho is probably fielding the best team they've ever had (which still isn't saying THAT much). If the Vandals ever had a shot at beating a top ten team, this will be it. I think BSU wins by a couple scores, but those boys from Moscow could surprise ya.

Let's be really honest: If BSU does not beat the Vandals by at least 30, it will be a moral victory for Idaho...this is a team that gave up something like 500 yards rushing to Nevada, that gave up 300 yards in ONE HALF against La Tech at home...BSU should destroy them

That word "should" is a funny one, though. BSU shouldn't have given up a bazillion rush yards to Fresno, they should have beat Tulsa by a landslide, they should have had a much better showing vs UC Davis, and they should have played much better vs La Tech. BSU has been impressive at times during the year, but at many other times they have been very underwhelming. We'll see what happens come Saturday.

Good point and nothing would bring a smile more quickly than a Vandal win. But I have watched this Vandal team and I'm telling you tackling is not in their vocabulary although, strangely enough, they have a safety named Te'o (no relation)

Agreed, not a great Idaho team by any stretch and BSU should win this game, but I wouldn't be astounded if they didn't either.

This could have been a good week for the Cougars. I'm really scared though that the pollsters will bump them down after their close call against winless UNM. It would be a real shame to have lost out on this great opportunity to do some poll rising. In the Cougars defense though, UNM looked pretty decent today. The Cougars made some mental mistakes and let a couple of drives get away from them but New Mexico looked very good today. It wouldn't surprise me to see them beat Colorado State next week... even by a substantial margin.

At the very least, we should jump Houston (didn't foresee that one) and Miami, but will probably get jumped by Oregon State. I'm curious to see how far Iowa and USC drop but I don't think it'll be far enough to drop behind BYU.
