10-2 or 6-6...

Post by Mars »

...Either way, the Las Vegas Bowl would suck.

Here is how I would rank where I want us to go bowling this year:

1. Boise
2. San Diego (very close second, but we lose the Humanitarian after this year, and the Poinsettia we could always go to some other down year)
3. Fort Worth
4. Albuquerque
5. Las Vegas

I'd like San Diego, both for the climate/surroundings and the echoes from the long lost Holiday Bowl era. What's sad is that even if we go in at 10-2, we'll face a 6-6 Arizona or Nevada. Not quite the same ring as a 6-5 Michigan...

I would attend the Las Vegas Bowl, or a bowl in San Diego. I would not attend a bowl in Boise or Albuquerque. Most likely wouldn't go to Fort Worth either.

Due to finances this year it would be Vegas or Boise as the only bowl games I would be able to attend. Don't think I am willing to drive to San Diego and can't afford the air fare this year.

I'm surprised how many of you WOULD STILL buy Las Vegas Bowl tickets...

If they cost as much as the Oklahoma or Washington game tickets then I am sure a lot of people wouldn't be willing to buy them. But $50 a ticket is a bargain compared to what the BCS tickets would cost.

Never been, so the bloom isn't off the rose...or the poinsettia. Which is pronounced poinzetta, by the way.
