JUNIOR - (2002): Participated in spring drills ... a Phil Steele College Football Preview second team All-MWC selection... earned All-Mountain West Conference honorable-mention honors ... a member of the All-Mountain West Academic team ... started all 12 games at center for the Cougars.

SOPHOMORE - (2001): Competed in eight regular-season games throughout the season... sustained a season-ending knee injury against Colorado State... played offensive line for No. 1 ranked offense in the nation (averaging 46.8 points and 542.8 yards per game)... provided protection for Heisman Trophy candidate Brandon Doman... a key blocker for Doak Walker Award winner Luke Staley, who scored 28 touchdowns and rushed for 1,596 yards on the season.

FRESHMAN - (2000): Participated in spring drills... missed most of the 2000 campaign after suffering a broken fibula prior to fall camp.

Parents are Jeff and Jan... Eagle Scout... served LDS Church mission to Dallas, Texas (Spanish speaking)... recruited by Stanford, Cal, UCLA, Washington, Kansas and Colorado State... married Ashley McKinnon in June 2002.
