I understand the potential large benefit from a $$$$$$ standpoint of going independent. I'd like to hear from a few folks on here an explanation of what the football benefit would really be. Thanks. Money is a huge part of it. More money = better facilities = more impressive to potential recruits. ...

Latest "news" out there is that BYU staying in the MWC is back on the table, so long as BYU keeps all rights to broadcast their home football games. Basically, BYU get their cake and gets to eat it too. That leaves the ESPN deal for home games as an option, long with potential BYU-tv game...

Personally, I don't like what Texas did in the Big 12, and I don't want us to make the same power play. I just don't want a lot of conferences to start heading down that road, plus we need for the other schools in our conference to get better in order for our wins to mean more. We don't help the cau...

One of my biggest concerns is the loss of the ability to compete for a conference championship every year. If BYU loses a game, which it's only being undefeated once in it's entire history, there is nothing else left to really play for in a season. As of right now, I'm just not convinced of the inde...
