Re: How Do You Like Your Coke

Imbibing with the Good Dr. But I swore off all soda this year, so I'll have to wait until 2011 to make savor the sweetness again.

Re: All-white road Uni's

If there is one thing that Yewties do outshine our fans in is their red. Its everywhere. they even do their blackout far better than our white out. ugh  Under Armour funded the :utard: blackout in 2008 vs TCU. Ushers with boxes of black shirts were at every gate and gave every person that did...

When will we have Conf and Team Sponsors

The thread on MWC vs Big Least mentioned the potential FedEx sponsorship if Memphis gets some play... I have no issue with sponsors leveraging their $$. Since we already have sponsored bowl games and stadiums, how far away are we from selling sponsorships for Conferences directly? How about Teams? Th...

Re: Did Utah and BYU have an agreement?

I am not so sure that BYU makes the same decision. I have a sneaking hunch that if BYU would have been offered, the Board of Trustees would have responded "Not without Utah."

Can't prove it, but I do very ardently believe it.

Re: Sunday for the the Utes - this will be interesting to wa

Does the U really market itself to LDS athletes as a Mormon-friendly environment? Absolutely. You'll hear about the silent majority of LDS students enrolled on the hill. You'll hear about the biggest CES/Institute program outside of Provo. You'll hear about the conversion stories of guys like Eric ...

Re: Good replacement for Omer?

It seems like the strength and conditioning coach is a guy you want to change every several years... I think the real issue is to change the training regime. The human body gets used to routines and needs a change to stimulate improvement. Omer needs to find a new way to do things or else BYU shoul...

Re: Nelson

Nelson didn't impress me in his limited PT in 2009. I thought his ball was wabbley and he showed a willingness to tuck and run way before it appeared the play was cooked. That said, I watched a Ty Detmer game the other day and he threw a LOT of wabbley balls. Give Nelson a bit of time and let's see ...

Re: Heaps

My impression is that this job is totally up for grabs. Each brings different skills to the field and there is no clear winner at this point. Here's my real question: If Nelson starts in 2010, does 1 year in the program let Heaps take the definitive lead in the race, and if so, does he start in 2011...

Re: Top 5 things utes are scared of:

Bronco makes a "no coaching at the :utard: " clause a pre-requirement for participation in the program. Out of respect, all current U coaches resign to seek jobs elsewhere... there is no pipeline.
