Re: Honor Code office, ie HOA
And I'm also thrilled to hear that the BYU-PD has been decertified.
I just hope the cure isn't worse than the disease.

Re: Honor Code office, ie HOA
However, the other changes blow me away. How is it possible that they weren’t already doing that? That was my reaction as well. How could they not tell you why you were there? How could they not tell you what the process would be, and give you resources to help you? Without that, it sounds very muc...

Re: Honor Code office, ie HOA
Looks like the Honor Code Office is moving in the right direction with consultation and transparency.

Re: Honor Code office, ie HOA
I'm grateful for the opinions expressed on this board. I never ran afoul of the honor code office. I ran afoul of the BYU police dozens of times through parking tickets. :) I'm sure I spent more time in the BYU police office than I did in professors' offices. But I never spent a moment in the honor ...

I hadn't heard. That's great news. Very happy for him.
He's a great kid who deserves good things (and I hate the word 'deserves' but I think it applies here).

Re: DL Motekiai Langi announces end to BYU football career
Sno called it as well. I'm disappointed--I really wanted to see this behemoth on the field! I was wondering how he was progressing and was hoping he might see the field a bit this year. He was fast enough in a straight line, but didn't have great burst or agility. He could fill a gap and may have be...

Re: Richard Harward too?
I agree. I think he'll do well at UVU and it will be a good place for him to cut his teeth as a D1 HC. Essentially him going to UVU serves as an insurance policy against Pope leaving--either moving up or for not performing. Or if Madsen is super successful, and Pope is middling along, I'm sure Madse...

Yeah, we missed out on that. Now Mad Dog's gonna take the Lakers with him to Orem.

Re: Corbin Kaufusi picked up by the Saints
And two returned missionary latter-day Saints. I wonder if that's ever happened on any other NFL team.
I'm happy for Corbin. That's a good organization.

Re: Dahlin Mesake decommits
Meh.
Not to be "that guy" and fully recognizing that this may be sour grapes, but this fella's grammar and punctuation is pretty bad. Shows he either doesn't know or doesn't care, and in either case shouldn't be at BYU. To say nothing of breaking commitments.
