Re: Breaking News BYU, the Big 12, and... Utah
Wacky... hadn't read this drivel, but I was thinking just this morning that adding BYU and Utah would be a huge coup for the Big XII. They'd get the whole Utah market (and don't forget the Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Pocatello market), bring in another historical rivalry, and force the PAC12's hand to d...

Re: Michigan cancels H-H series with Arkansas
I heard this and assumed the move is to make room for Notre Dame on Michigan's schedule. Would be great if BYU could pick up a couple late fall games.

Re: Jordan Chatman to transfer.
Looks like BYU Law school is forcing his hand on this. Based on Twitter (and when has that ever been a bad idea) The law school will not allow him to be on the hoops team, so now the team lost a solid player AND the Law School lost a loyal student. Interesting (especially given that the Law School ...

Re: BLACKOUT against Utah State
Good planning... the blackout game starts at 5:30 PM. would be bad to have a blackout game at noon or 1 pm in early September.

Re: Libertarians and gender neutral locker rooms
I have a hard time affiliating wholly with any political party at the exclusion of all others, but I am pretty Libertarian... On the gender neutral locker room issue, I don't know where the Libertarian party stands. I haven't delved into that and likely won't, because I have my own moral position on...

Re: J Reuben Clark on the "fiendish butchery" of Japanese Civilians
Question: If the Japanese empire was not willing to stop their pursuit of power after the first A-bomb, would a carpet bombing of Nagasaki have produced the same result we realized from dropping a second nuke?

Re: Not just BYU - sexual assault complaints at Utah universities
There have been several articles written recently supporting Spiff's position. Several by those not of the LDS faith. Their overwhelming conclusion: alcohol abuse drives sexual assaults. If you want to reduce sexual assaults (probably cannot eliminate them), then you should start by living a more BY...

I find myself gravitating more and more toward Ezra Taft Benson's perspective on foreign policy, but it's a slow and hard transition as a Top Gun-generation kid. http://www.latterdayconservative.com/ezra-taft-benson/united-states-foreign-policy/ Dear Top Gun generation kid, Can you give me that ETB...

Re: Book recommendation
Just finished "The Boys on the Boat" and loved it. I'm driving tons for work now and so I've renewed my pursuit of the best audio books.
