CFB Post-COVID
Watching these bowl games, I've found myself wondering how college football may look different into the future as we move past COVID. Curious how others see the future panning out. Here are some of my thoughts: - remote commentator broadcasts happening more and more and becoming the norm for lower-t...

Whichever one spends the most time this offseason with John Beck.

Re: State of Athletics Program
So, with the bowl payout, they'll barely be halfway to making up the shortfall. I know BYU doesn't operate with debt, and doesn't fund athletics with tuition or tithing dollars, so I'm curious if the athletic department has enough in reserves to cover the shortage, or if we're going to see some cost...

Re: Ty Jordan, Utah football player past away
What the actual hell -- are people seriously just guessing someone committed suicide now? That's a real ass-hat move. The single wound was to his abdomen/stomach/hip from a handgun. Not exactly how I picture a handgun suicide being carried out. I'm also not familiar with ANY law enforcement agency p...

Re: Broadway Zach Wilson?
Please, no.
Anywhere but the Jets. Possibly the worst destination for a 1st round QB in NFL history. It's the type of situation where a QB would rather sit out a year instead of signing a rookie contract and wait for the next draft. Abysmally bad.

Re: Something happened to the defense after the Boise game.
BYU's defense is like the Colts defenses during Peyton Manning's run. It is built to hold a lead behind an offense that scores. When the offense is scoring early and putting a lead on the board, it puts pressure on opponents to put the ball in the air more to get more yards and slow the clock. It's...

Re: Grimes
1341588939568631809 Eric Mateos confirmed he was home with Corona--but who knows with Grimes. Seeing BYU players and coaches have continued success after their time at BYU is also a sign of program health. I guess we'll wait and see. Either that, or he's being fully honest about how he is celebrati...

Re: Grimes
I am ok with Grimes leaving, what he has done has been great but I really believe in ARod and especially in Fesi as Co-OC's. And that will leave an opening for John Beck to come in as QB coach. Mates on the other hand would be a gigantic lose. What he has done with the oline has been nothin...

Re: Grimes
I've been saying for a year and a half that BYU's offense may very well be better without Jeff Grimes calling the plays.
Last night solidified that opinion for me.
