Remember these award are voted on by coaches. Basically the WCC coaches think Haws is a better player than Emery. And I for one agree.

We are grinding out a win-- up by twelve with 10 minutes to go but Emery left the with an apparent leg injury. He hasn't returned.

If you watch how physical and athletic NBA 4's and 5's are (which is where Mika would need to play), you would see that at this point in his career, he has no chance at making an NBA roster and would not get drafted (at least in the 1st round).
