Re: WCC All Conference Team
Remember these award are voted on by coaches. Basically the WCC coaches think Haws is a better player than Emery. And I for one agree.

Re: BYU vs Gonzaga
Rewatched the game this morning and I think the following were important swings in the game: -Childs looks a step slow all night. But Kaufusi is peaking at the right time. Gonzaga is also a team big enough for the Kaufusi-Mika front line. -Shaw had 5 turnovers in 8 minutes. His talent isn't ready fo...

Vs St Mary's
Basically we were out executed this game. They took away most of our offensive strengths and when we took away Landale they just pivoted to an efficient drive and kick game. That isn't to say we didn't play hard or as well as we could. But they knew that Childs isn't a 3 pt threat or much of threat ...

Re: When #1 rolls into Provo...
I finally got to watch this game and here is my 2 cents: It was clear early on that we as a team were intimidated by their size and physical play. Over the course of the game we adjusted but they are too good for us to spot them 10 points. I liked our effort defensively and we missed some shots we n...

We are grinding out a win-- up by twelve with 10 minutes to go but Emery left the with an apparent leg injury. He hasn't returned.

Re: Mika is Elite
. But defensively he can't guard 5's without more strength. He won't be much of a rim protector at the NBA--he is simply too small. :skeptic: Here's how Mika measures size-wise against 6 of the top-10 starting NBA centers when they were drafted: Erik Mika = 6'10", 230# DeAndre Jordan = 6'11&qu...

Re: Mika is Elite
If you watch how physical and athletic NBA 4's and 5's are (which is where Mika would need to play), you would see that at this point in his career, he has no chance at making an NBA roster and would not get drafted (at least in the 1st round). Mika is a really good college player and I am thrilled...
