CB is Horrible

Forgive me, CourgarCorner, I strayed and found myself enticed by the mass of BYU fans on Cougar Board.

I thought maybe I could adjust to their weird, 2001-style forum style. Worse, I thought I would find civil discourse.

Re: Caleb Lohner and Gideon George enter transfer portal

Agree. The new transfer rules are ruining college hoops. And, at the end of the day, it’s bad for the players’ development. I get and feel for a player that signs up to be on a team and is sold one thing but it ends up being another. That’s rough. Well, fine, transfer and take an extra year to get b...

Re: Caleb Lohner and Gideon George enter transfer portal

Caleb and George are some of the most athletic players BYU has ever had. They are also upperclassmen with good experience under their belts. So losing them hurts. I hope Pope isn’t dismissing their departure as “well they aren’t good enough for BYU, anyways” because he lost a coach and two of his st...

Re: Unpopular Opinion

Pope lost his assistant to a lateral move and two returning starters. All is not well with Pope. My current impression of Pope is that he’s a great, optimistic raw-raw guy, but not an X’s and O’s guy. The revolving door of talent, stagnant offense, and losses to poor teams indicates such. Kolby Lee ...

Yeah. He got a lot better at passing this last season.

I think if a team takes him (not this year) it will be because of his potential.

Gideon George

Love the guy. Very athletic, but I don’t see him getting drafted. I think he’s testing the waters and we will see him back next season.

He needs to get more consistent and he needs a midrange shot, as does the rest of the team.

Re: WCC creates 'The Russell Rule'

Religion isn't quite recognized as a minority group. Usually it's race and sexual orientation. For some male-dominated sports, like football, a female applicant may be considered a minority. What this means, though, is for every open position there will be a token minority that makes it to the last ...

Recruiting is about effort. Kalani just wants to have fun.

We still have some time on that front.
