Re: ESPN announces FB sched!!
CBS can pick up the BYU-Miss game. Don't see much else the first week for the SEC so that's where I think it goes. The only other options are South Carolina-East Carolina (if CBS has the rights) or that sweet Auburn-Utah St matchup we've all been waiting for.

A little more to the story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/24/ralph-nader-calls-for-end_n_840243.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm not really a huffington post guy but a friend had this link on fb. "Nader said that colleges should either integrate athletic...

Re: Independence a leap of faith, football and fame for BYU
Good article. This was a little over the top: "I feel liberated," said Mendenhall, possibly the deepest-thinking major-college coach in the land . "We can play anyone we want to play." But I really like the prospect of this: "Soon his division will launch the same iPhone and...

Ralph Nader - No more scholarships
As if college athletics weren't rife enough with socialism, Ralph Nader wants to take it all the way. At least the basketball players could go to Europe. Maybe the CFL and Arena league might be worth watching. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=6254572" onclick="window.open(this....

Re: Obama declares war on Lybia
Not sure why my post from last night isn't here. 1&3) The US government is only damned if it does. The correct pattern for undertaking a just war is outlined in D&C 98 as referenced by another poster. This one doesn't even come close. Perhaps the Libyan rebel army has a just cause, again I a...

Re: Obama declares war on Lybia
Libya is not a threat to the United States. How do you know that? We have no idea who the good guys and bad guys are over there (or I should say the bad guys and the worse guys), for all you know you are helping a bunch of communists (in fact there is a very good chance of that). Communists? I don'...

Re: Obama declares war on Lybia
Which boils down to the belief that you can compel me to pay for a war I believe to be unjust and will result in more death and destruction than if you had done nothing. Correct me if I misinterpret. You refer to the Libya no-fly zone action? It appears to me that the action has stopped the slaught...

Re: Church supports watered-down immigration bill
And in other news ... The Church acknowledges that it hasn't repealed the 10th article of faith... But did they exclude D&C sections 121 and 134 from the latest edition where it tells me I am no longer bound to uphold a government when that government compels a violation of my property rights t...
