Re: Why is Jabari at BYU?
This is a challenge a lot of prep players face: they are forced into a situation where they aren't maximizing their opportunity, rather, they are playing where the team needs them most. I'm a team guy, but if Travis Hansen plays with the ball in his hands more at BYU, he lasts longer in the NBA, IMH...

Re: 2016 by Position Group Concern
Concur on the concerns with the OL, but I had to go with ST, since I don't think I could even name who our kicker and punter are going to be. Maybe that is just my ignorance shining through, though. http://img.deseretnews.com/images/article/midres2/1534512/1534512.jpg  Why did I think he had...

Re: 2016 by Position Group Concern
OL was once a no-brainer (and a gateway to the draft). Haven't seen that in too many years. Hope that Sitake, Detmer, and Empey will be able to change that, but I'm not sure it's a one year fix.

Re: Quinn's Laws
I no longer see the political world as a spectrum or continuum. To me it's more like the Olympic rings: chunks of overlap between two or more ideologies. Liberals and libertarians would allow for drug use. Liberals would regulate and tax it heavily, while libertarians would (generally) not. Liberals...

Re: Pre-Game Firesides to Continue, but Differently
I know you said "usually" non-starters, but I'll tell you that Devon Blackmon's prayer at the fireside before Nebraska sent reverberations around Cougar Nation: "Bless us to beat Nebraska!" And as for dying on the vine... that fireside was broadcast to multiple stake centers/chap...

Yes. This is part of what the Defensive staff is calling "Long Shadows" wherein the height of the front 7 ...
Just kidding
But seriously, does this actually solve any scholarship problems?

Re: BYU Students Investigated for REPORTING Rape
I'm not gonna weigh in on the allegations or the process, but I'll say it has been interesting to read local media, national media and social media and hear quotes like "I chose not to go to BYU because of the overreach of the HC office." And other statements that indicate an intimate know...

Re: Bronson Kaufusi NFL Scouting Report
Fortunately, most of the downer comments were about Brandon Kafusi, who I believe is an All State rep, not a D End. Whew!
