Re: Top Candidates for OC
Does the OC get to pick his own Staff? Since Detmer is already the QB coach, maybe the answer is no. What kind of OC will BYU get if he's stuck with KS' picked position coaches?

Re: Ty No Longer OC
Is it a given that the new OC will be able to pick the offensive position coaches? That fact that Detmer is staying on as QB coach may mean the answer is no. What good OC will come to BYU get if he can't pick his own staff?

Re: Fire everyone involved in BYU football this year.
Yep. Just as irrational as believing Po fans (Benson: pride from the bottom looking up) can get this staff fired. ... Football revenue pays for most of the entire athletic dept budget at virtually all schools. If TH doesn't make any coaching changes by the end of January, Cougar season ticket holde...

Re: BYU Opponents: Week 12
This was the first win this season by UMass against an FBS team. Its other wins were against FCS schools. Playing 6 Mountain West schools ( Fresno State is the only MW opponent with a winning record ), 0-11 FCS Portland State, 3-8 East Carolina and 4-7 UMass (3 wins over FCS schools) is hardly a to...

Re: "Open competition" for Starting QB
The Cougars have been practicing since August and the coaches don't know who their best QB is yet? The fact that the coaches would even contemplate burning Wilstead's redshirt this late in the season (3 games left) when no bowl game is a certainty, and Hoge and Critchlow each hasn't seen much playin...

Re: KJ Hall
Dorsett as a freshman at Pitt weighed 155 lbs; of course, he was as fast as greased lightening. More recently, Jim Leonard, now defensive coordinator at Wisconsin, was a 2 time All-American safety at Wisconsin and played safety in the NFL for 10 years (ending in 2014) at 5'8" and 180 lbs. He wa...

Re: Things may be getting worse... Tolutau cited
Probably for a couple of reasons. Like stated above, he probably knew he wouldn't play as much as he wanted at Wisconsin. Second, I think there are a lot of Polynesian players who want to play for Sitake.
Gary Anderson originally recruited Tulotau to Wisconsin. Tulotau after his mi...

Re: The Problem with being Family
If the offensive line was good, BYU would rush for more than 89.1 yds per game and rank higher than 127th out of 130 teams.
