Re: I love Coach Rose...
Dave Rose is the best hoops coach in BYU history... He has fabulous talent coming into BYU ... fabulous Injuries have hampered us the last two years Even without Tyler a healthy BYU team next year is going to be near the top 25 Our bigs are either too young to start or too hurt to play or aren't fi...

Re: Food Advantage in Recruiting
I have a close family member who works for BYU dining services. I showed this article and asked what BYU does. No cookie cakes for recruits but they do get mint brownies with a couple flavors of BYU ice cream...as well as a 5 course lobster dinner. Maybe if they replace the brownies with cookie cake...

Re: Bronco or Whitt?
Can neither one be an option? There are much better options than both these guys, even though Brady Poppinga would have you think otherwise. I voted Bronco though just because of his experience at BYU and that he does know coach fairly well (he just can't hire good coordinators for the life of him).

Re: Start Winder
Sometimes it is more important having a player who provides a spark off the bench and not having them in the starting lineup. I live in Tucson and we have Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, an NBA caliber player, coming off the bench to provide a spark and still playing starter minutes, kind of like Winder. I...

Re: Is it ever good enough?
I will agree, all things considered BYU is performing at a high level. The there have been no blowout losses, which I mark up as a win. The big men need to develop, plain and simple. They are showing flashes of potential (especially Kaufusi on D and Nielsen on offense) and once they develop over the...

Re: If BYU were to get a new coach...
I agree, the offense wasn't the issue but lest we forget who has handled the defense in the past...Maybe Bronco should stay, I don't know but whatever we do we need to get a capable D coordinator and great defensive recruits.

If BYU were to get a new coach...
How about the Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. I mean...leading a pro team to a Super Bowl would look good to recruits and he would attract top notch coordinators...Just saying Mr. Holmoe.... Only reason I bring this up: That bowl game. Awful horrendous coaching. Its time for a...

Phil Ford
Ok, seriously, enough about the Jake Heaps side of things. You all have let out your frustrations and beaten that dead horse to death. Let's look at who we could and should be getting with Phil Ford. I found his senior year highlights and he looks huge and honestly, he could be someone who could con...

Re: Player rotations lately
Cusick is an ok option if both Carlino and Winder are in foul trouble but other than that he shouldn't get more than 10 minutes in a game. Zylstra's role on the team should be simple: screen to get people open and shoot the rock whenever he is open. Defensively he is a HUGE liability so when Rogers ...

Re: I contacted BYU about this guy nearly 2 years ago
I like your thinking. BYU does need to hit up the JUCO ranks more for size, rebounding and defense because Provo High can only crank out so many 6'9 offensive machines. I'm with you and would like to hear who else BYU should target for the future.
