Re: School of the prophets?
Maybe a year ago my wife and I were reading some research by a group who was tracking activity of different churches throughout the world especially LDS. It was discomfiting but the few sources checked out. Essentially our church activity is diminishing despite baptisms including Central/South Amer...

Re: Honor Code office, ie HOA
However, the other changes blow me away. How is it possible that they weren’t already doing that? That was my reaction as well. How could they not tell you why you were there? How could they not tell you what the process would be, and give you resources to help you? Without that, it sounds very muc...

Re: 2019 Schedule
The MWC released their TV schedule today which impacts 2 BYU games: Sat., Nov. 2 BYU at Utah State TBA ESPN Networks Sat., Nov. 30 BYU at San Diego State 6 p.m. PT CBSSN I'm not a fan of CBSSN and usually have to scramble to find where I can get that channel. Nice to have @ Utah State on an ESPN ch...

If that's your basis, ties should be immediately banned from society. And any other piece of clothing not washed immediately after being worn after a single use.
And we haven't started talking about kids.

Re: Your Child's Education: UVU or UofU
If my kids don't get into BYU I'll probably recommend CSUMB which is a 15 minute commute. I could see UVU or BYU-I as decent options. I'd rather my kids go to any of the UC schools than UU though I'd have to sit down with them and review the ROI for each school. Depends on aspirations. If they want ...

Re: Houston Reynolds on brother Dallas not yet being hired as OL coach
But that resume is still >= Pugh's. BYU knows what they have in Dallas. BYU's out looking to see if they can do better. I have no problem with that, and neither should the Reynolds family. If BYU finds better, terrific. If not, they have a good one in Dallas. Also a plus in my book is that he was c...

Re: OL coach Ryan Pugh going to Troy as OC?
He built up a decent resume in one year: turned a team around, nearly doubled their wins, and produced a freshman all-american. I'm just hoping that Grimes continues to get an outside person. There's enough intellectual incest in the program already. Diversity of thought is a strength. It's kind of...

Re: OL coach Ryan Pugh going to Troy as OC?
Excited to see who Grimes can find. I'd like to see someone who's had success at a G5 school. It will be telling to see how much money they spend on the new hire.
