Re: BYU announces caffeinated beverages will be served on campus and at games

I read that President Worthen was asked why the change and he said something like after having lost to UT 7 times he needed a stiffer drink to cope :)

I'd say the biggest problem no one is talking about is three fold...

1. BYU doesn't have an offense that can score points.
2. BYU doesn't have a defense that can stop opposing teams from scoring points.
3. BYU's special teams are poor to awful.
Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Thought you'd be talking about pass defense. We must be on track for giving up the highest completion percentage ever.
And I just saw the stats in the twitter feed:

BYU is allowing 82.4% completions vs FBS teams, worst in the nation.

Re: Can Beau Hoge Rescue BYU's Offense?

It's fine by me. But based on the title, I assumed he posted a pre-Wisconsin link after the game had already ended. Haha! My thought exactly. A day late and a dollar short. But in general. I'm fine with someone saying come read me here, although I will never go there to read it. If it is good enoug...

Re: MLP and the Forgotten Playbook

Here's what I learned yesterday talking to people who know more than I do. #1 -- This coaching staff is committed to not making excuses and taking the blame wherever possible. #2 -- As part of that, and for competitive advantage, Kalani insists that no one discuss injuries other than season-ending ...

I just hope Tanner survives the LSU-Utah-Wisconsin stretch. I'm afraid injury is very likely against one of those teams.
The one time in my life I was right.
Why couldn't you have been more concerned about Hundley instead? ;)

Sitake did explain Hannemann missing the 2nd half. He said it was extra punishment for 2 targeting hits in a 3 game stretch.
Which is a good coaching moment. You can't play like Hannemann was playing. Targeting is an ejection penalty for a reason.

Re: Talent gap is growing - how can we win?

Also a big difference at QB. Tyler Huntley is much more athletic than Tyler Mangum. Probably why Tyler Mangum didn't even make the team. LOL. Didn't the TV show his name as Tyler Mangum at one point? I'll tell you who else did not bring their A game and it was ESPN. The announcers were bored, uninf...

Re: BYU - Utah Game Thread

Just got home from the game. Here's the ugly truth my friends. The offense is a total shambles. There's only one guy on offense who is any good, Matt Bushman. Tanner Mangum is a mess. He's making wrong reads, he's underthrowing 95% of his passes. He's locked on to receivers making for easy picks. H...
