Re: Additional FB Coach?

Cesar Rivas-Sandoval (Azusa Pacific) has vast coaching experience (17 years) and has been very successful. I live about 10 min fro Azusa Pacific. He's a well respected coach that produces. He would be a solid hire.

Roderick ..... He has proven experience that people dismiss solely because of where he coached. I am 100% convinced there is some on here that no matter who BYU hires they won't be satisfied.
Bingo! Got that right.

Re: Offensive Coaching staff

I suspect Grimes has his hands full preparing for Notre Dame in the Citrus Bowl, Jan. 1st. I would think announcements would come 7-10 days after that. I'm sure phone call and emails have been made to possible prospects. Grimes is a dedicated and focused guy.

Wow. That Sitake is just a master recruiter!
You have to be patient. He hasn't got his mojo going yet. Next year. Then it's time to reassess. Mojo is slow.

Re: Another decommit, Jaren Mitchell, WR

A loss is a loss. But, his other choices are Utah St, Colorado St, Liberty U, Stephen F. Austin, and Central Arkansas. Unless other schools join the hunt. His best options are the Y, Utah St, or Co St.

And I gotta say, Ddawg, I was really hoping we'd see your Avatar go away after BYU throttled Utah in the hardwood. ;)
That was a good win for BYU basketball.

Re: I don't get the Grimes hire.

Grimes was run game co-ordinate and is a fantastic get do some research and get educated folks I submit your assessment Selway is spot on. The hiring of Jeff Grimes is a huge "get." Everywhere he has coached at he has "upped" the teams performance. Then moved up to a better position for himself bec...

Kaho was the "prize" of 2018. A true 4* with big impact. His de-commit stings.
