Re: CB Isaiah Herron commits

For the first year, the old system was kept in place, so that a senior QB could hit the ground running. Remember, T Hill was returning from an injury that would have slowed his transition to the new offense (iirc, he was sitting out spring camp, 2016). Hill also had a blue chip senior RB in the bac...

Re: CB Isaiah Herron commits

Meh. BYU in a down year. I think it will be fixed and we win out, and then the offseason will have a few changes, then 2018 will be much better. The injuries are horrifying this year, but I think it will prove to offer better depth, and when a recruut is excited to come to the Y, then he gets a cha...

Re: Woo hoo! BYU is FAVORED in a game

The ECU defense gives up an average of 48 to 50 points per game. If we can run against them (without fumbling) we can win this going away. Yeah, that whole fumbling thing is getting ridiculous. It fits with the narrative for this year though that our one RB that can get consistent yards can't hold ...

Re: CB Isaiah Herron commits

This isn't a "down" season. This is the titanic. It is a complete and utter disaster. This is Ty Willingham at Washington bad. This is the kind of program failure that takes a coach like Peterson to get things fixed. Does BYU have a "Peterson" type coach that can get us back on track?

If you can believe that ECU is better than Portland state, then you have to be worried about this game.

Re: Loyalty to BYU or Individuals?

I was loyal to Gary Crowton because of his first 12 games and with him at HC BYU was always close to being good when things went bad (most of the losses were close and could have been wins with a turnover going the other way here and there). This raised my eyebrows... I was loyal to Crowton. Though...

Re: Loyalty to BYU or Individuals?

BYU is my school of choice that I root for. I am loyal to the brand. I am loyal to coaches to an extent. I was and am loyal to Bronco because I could see the program that he was running and I respected what he was doing at BYU. I was loyal to Gary Crowton because of his first 12 games and with him a...

Re: QB Leash

I would rather be 6-1 with a loss to the utes than 1-6 with the team looking like it currently does. My guess is that BYU would have been on a 2 game winning streak had bronco stayed here after this years win. The lone loss would have been Wisconsin.

Bronco would be 6-1 right now.
Bronco IS 5-1 right now, receiving votes and sitting atop the ACC.
And he destroyed a BSU team on their home field that destroyed us on our home field.
