Re: PSU Preview Aug 26, 2017 1pm MST

My seats will be in the air conditioned living room of my parents house. I'm not going to a 1pm kickoff in August. Any BYU home games in Aug or September should not begin before 7pm. It's just unbearable, uncomfortable for fans. http://www.graphics99.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Too-Hot-Glitterin...

Re: Expectations for Tanner

I just hope Tanner survives the LSU-Utah-Wisconsin stretch. I'm afraid injury is very likely against one of those teams. Nah. As long as he stays in the pocket he'll be fine. that's what I learned through the taysom hill years from the resident armchair qbs. Only Utah State can injure a quarterback...

Re: Expectations for Tanner

I think he'll have more attempts [than his frosh 446] this year (closer to 500). I disagree. Ty isn't running a pass-happy offense. Last year we had 412 total passing attempts, and that was with a lot of close games where we were passing late in the game---not a lot of run-the-clock-out blowouts. G...

He's had recurring bone spurs in both hips since his freshman year.

Not a part of the anatomy you want to have to mess with as a football player.

Re: Expectations for Tanner

Several years ago during Max Hall's jr or sr year they talked about a 4.0 TD/INT ratio at the Big Blue Bash and the analysis that they had done on it. Yeah, it's uncommon, but it does happen at BYU and in the rest of college football, that's what makes them elite. If we want a special season it's t...

Returning players: Tanner Balderree, Hunter Marshall, Nate Sampson, Troy Hinds (retired), Alema Piliami Newcomers: Joe Tukuafu (might have to sit a year), Matt Bushman Don't forget Moroni Laulu-Pututau who is switching from receiver and in Spring appeared to have the inside track to the starting sp...

Re: BYU the most recognizable "Cougars" nationwide.

What's up with Alaska? i understand the other red states. A lot of folks in Alaska come down to WA and vice versus. That makes sense to me. ok, but how does that explain that they affiliate cougars with UH, not WSU? My best guess would be oil industry folks from Houston transplanting to or working ...
