Re: 2018 QB Preview

This puts tanner in a bad spot with fans. If he gets the job and he doesn't light the scoreboard up (like Taysom in 16) he'll get the "favoritism label. But I agree, let the best guy go out and compete. Tanner is already in a bad spot with fans after his season last year, isn't he? Definitely. But ...

Clearly the coach deserves to be fired. Top 15 teams never should lose to lower-tier WCC teams.
No, they shouldn't. But I think Bennett gets a pass. I mean, half his team speaks Australian!

Got any more of that sarcasm?
What happened? Did BYU lose to USD? CRAP!
Didn't see the game. Glad I didn't now.

Re: Smart gun laws

Before we address guns, I think we need to address violence in media a little better. Once we get to guns, I'd just like to see what exactly people are suggesting in an AR-15 or assault weapons ban. How exactly do you define what is being banned? Totally agree with you on violence in the media. And...

Re: Utahns, how excited are you about Mitt Romney

I think obamacare and any govt involvement is only making the healthcare problem infinitely worse in this country. Practitioners/hospitals can charge downright ridiculous pricing and often the govt will pay it. It's a bubble and it's driven by the govt being involved. Just like student loans and gov...

Re: Smart gun laws

Pro gun here. I'm personally OK with getting rid of ar15, or maybe you have to be a member of the NRA to get one (since not a single attack has been carried out by a card carrying NRA member). I think this issue is completely overblown. Kids have a 100% higher risk of being killed outside a school t...

Look into his time at MA and then when running for president. Two totally different people with different principles.
Is this a good, or bad thing?

The team is developing some maturity and that is fun to see. The OT win at home was crazy lucky for us but I will take it! Tonight’s OT win was well deserved.
Didn't see the game, but I know pepperdine doesn't have 5 wins on the season. Why was BYU in a position to even get to OT?

Re: Kalani Trying to be More Like Bronco

interesting take. My first mission president was very relaxed (and he was lifelong military type), but he expected us to go out, work and be diligent. But he wasn't a disciplinarian. We all loved him so much that we did what we were supposed to out of respect for him. No one wanted to let him down. ...
