I think they just simply ran out of gas. They played them tough the first game and destroyed both the other teams in the regional. And they beat Utah earlier in the year. By the time they got to the second game against Utah, they just had nothing left in the tank.

Ok. So why DID Utah have something left in the tank?

Unfortunately, a 14-0 drubbing is slightly worse than a newspaper tap. But, yes, BYU does seem to flounder when it comes to Utah.

That's pathetic. More runs given up in one game than just about the entire WCC season.

Yep. They gave up 16 runs in WCC play.

BYU is the weakest mentally they've ever been in their entire history.

It's absolutely shameful.

Especially when playing Utah in just about any sport.
