These included acts of violence up to and including lynching. I wonder if some of these boycotters know much of the history of their own party.

I wonder why, when Rep. John Lewis spoke at Sen. Sessions confirmation hearing - and opposed Sen. Sessions based on southern civil rights violation from the 60's; Rep. John Lewis failed to disclose that the beating he received (his skull was fractured) in 1965, in Selma, while leading 600 across the Edmund Pettus Bridge - was ordered by a democrat gov, a democrat mayor, and a democrat sheriff. These racist democrats ordered the state troopers, local police, and the KKK to beat and use dogs to stop the civil rights marchers. All the marchers wanted to do was register to vote.
