The Bears put Paul Lasike on waivers today.

Probably needed to clear roster space as they just had four players go down for at least 3 weeks each with injuries last night (including a RB), but still rough.

If Harline could have stayed healthy, I think he would have been a great NFL TE as well.

Pitta might not play until the 3rd or 4th week of the season. He got into a fight with a rookie mouthbreathing DE out of that trucking school in Boise during practice way back at the beginning of the month and broke his finger, which is a pretty essential body part for a pass-catching TE.

Kaufusi is likely out for the year with ankle fracture. Doubt he'll try to break into the rotation even IF he gets clearance to go.

Also from ESPN's NFL injury report today:

Van Noy suffered an undisclosed injury in the third quarter and went right to the locker room.

Ansah hobbled off the field after the third snap of the game. Ansah, who ranked third in the NFL last season with 14.5 sacks, did not return to the game (ankle).

So continues the trend of former cougar injury problems.
